Malbec varietals love the high elevation and hot days, cool nights in DeLuz. Aromas of vanilla and berries flow from the glass. The palate is rich and textured with flavors of fresh blackberries and plump red cherries, along with a hint of vanilla, chocolate, grippy tannins and a medium-long finish. This wine's depth and structure provide for potential aging.
Pairs well with lean, red meats and blue cheese.

The Prestifilippo Family has been growing their property into a Sicilian Estate since 2003. Planted on their Estate property is Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Nero D'Avola, Malbec, Pinot Noir, Aglianico, Montepulciano, Sagrantino, Pinot Grigio, Catarratto, and Moscato Canelli grapes along with a vast variety of olives (to make our estate grown and produced olive oils), fruits, and vegetables. The Prestifilippo family now grows grapes on over 30 acres.
In addition to the vineyards and Wine Room, they distribute the wine and olive oil at the family-owned restaurants located in Temecula, California: Gourmet Italia, Spuntino pizzeria, and Bottega Italia.
