Sagrantino is a very rare, bold, Italian red wine that is said to have the highest number of antioxidants of any red wine. It has attractively scented raspberry and black cherry aromas, firm black fruit flavors, plentiful tannins and some spice and herb notes evident in the finish.
If you enjoy Petit Syrah or a Bordeaux Blend, you are likely to love our Sagrantino!
Pairs well with cream-based sauces, sausages, mushrooms, and cheeses.

The Prestifilippo Family has been growing their property into a Sicilian Estate since 2003. Planted on their Estate property is Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Nero D'Avola, Malbec, Pinot Noir, Aglianico, Montepulciano, Sagrantino, Pinot Grigio, Catarratto, and Moscato Canelli grapes along with a vast variety of olives (to make our estate grown and produced olive oils), fruits, and vegetables. The Prestifilippo family now grows grapes on over 30 acres.
In addition to the vineyards and Wine Room, they distribute the wine and olive oil at the family-owned restaurants located in Temecula, California: Gourmet Italia, Spuntino pizzeria, and Bottega Italia.
