This wine is dark ruby in color with complex fruity aromas of black currant and black cherries. Expansive and integrated with fine, silky tannins are flavors of blackberries, white pepper, nutmeg, and toasty oak. A long finish builds and lingers on.
Pairs well with dark meats and exotic spices.

The Prestifilippo Family has been growing their property into a Sicilian Estate since 2003. Planted on their Estate property is Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Nero D'Avola, Malbec, Pinot Noir, Aglianico, Montepulciano, Sagrantino, Pinot Grigio, Catarratto, and Moscato Canelli grapes along with a vast variety of olives (to make our estate grown and produced olive oils), fruits, and vegetables. The Prestifilippo family now grows grapes on over 30 acres.
In addition to the vineyards and Wine Room, they distribute the wine and olive oil at the family-owned restaurants located in Temecula, California: Gourmet Italia, Spuntino pizzeria, and Bottega Italia.
